What is inflammation?

Simply, it’s the body’s response to injuries. It does have its benefits, but inflammation can
sometimes be a significant risk factor in certain chronic illnesses. When inflammation is present
in the body for long periods of time, it can become chronic and potentially contribute to
diseases, including autoimmune diseases. Some of these diseases are osteoarthritis,
Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, rheumatoid arthritis, Parkinson’s disease, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative
colitis, heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, fibromyalgia, and even cancer.
The good news is that there are things that you can do to alleviate the inflammation. Find out how in this video.
